Ropes Course and Climbing

The ropes course at Synergia is well known for its excellent facilitation and state-of-the-art course construction. Set in a secluded grove of Ponderosa Pines, the High and Low Ropes Course is a great place for your class to learn and have fun at the same time.

For out of town schools this options offers more time and opportunity to use the course and delve deeper into group dynamics and is also a good option for local schools as well.

This takes a full day and is best done as an add-on to a multi-day trip.
Canoe Trips

This is an overnight camping trip. Lake Englebright is connected to the confluence of the North and South forks of the Yuba River and is a great place to paddle and often is an add on to a basecamp trip.

Lake Spaulding is located off HWY 20 on the way to Tahoe. Beautiful rivers feed into the lake and is an excellent flat water lake for paddling, learning, and exploring.

This lake is close to downtown Nevada City and has a campground that is great for larger groups and is a great temp for swimming earlier in the season.
Backpacking Trips

This trips leads you to the Yuba River near Nevada City and is a great place to swim and challenge your class just enough for them to have fun and also appreciate the ease and comforts of their usual life.
