  • Yes. WILD (Wilderness Institute for Lifelong Development ) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible and will receive a written acknowledgment of your gift for your tax records.

  • Your gift directly supports our mission to provide transformative outdoor experiences. Donations are used for:

    • Scholarships: Ensuring that financial barriers don't stop youth from participating in our wilderness programs.

    • Program Gear & Safety: Maintaining high-quality climbing and wilderness equipment to keep our participants safe and equipped.

    • Facilitation & Education: Supporting our lead guides in delivering curriculum that builds relationships with nature, others, and ourselves.

  • Absolutely. We are always looking for people who share our passion for the natural world.

    • Technical Support: Assist our program director with fun office work. Currently we’re in need of a bookkeeper.

    • On the ground help: We often need support with land clearing, prepping and cleaning up from trips, and help in the kitchen if you love to cook.

    • Service Projects: Join us for stewardship days where we care for the wild places we explore.
